Every Sunday the Adventist Church in Dublin makes +100 sandwiches for homeless people.
It all started with a 2017 Thanksgiving Day, when Dublin West Church decided to collect and donate money, food, products and more for the homeless people. The organization they decided to help and join forces with was “Hope in the Darkness” led by Sinead Kane. Following that experience, reported in “Greetings from Gadara” article, they repeated the experience on a quarterly basis.
Later, the Romanian Church decided to get involved by helping there on a weekly basis, providing part of the food offered on the table. More than 100 rich sandwiches reach some hungry and sometimes hopeless people at the GPO in Dublin.
Dublin West Church joined also to this approach, and every third Sunday it is their turn to help. As far as the organizers know, Drumcondra Church and IMASA organization would like to join also.
All are welcome to support and expand this ministry to a better outreach. We thank you all! Carmen Stan (Women Ministry director) and Christian Salcianu (pastor).
Below is the schedule for the September-December 2019 (will be updated to completion).

“Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? […] And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’” (Matthew 25:37,40 ESV)
